Höganäs, or High Isthmus, is a decently sized town, albeit sleepy and gentrified.
Law enforcement has next to no presence, but in general, things are calm.
To be clear, this isn't a place where you would settle down permanently; it's an awkwardly located pit stop between the domains of Malmö and Gothenburg.
A place where you can lay low, if you have to get away from things.
Enjoy what you can of your stay here, but be wary of the locals; in smaller towns, you don't need to get on the news for word to get around fast...
